IT'S BEEN A YEAR!
It has been a year since I was incarcerated, a year since I've seen our children, a year since I've seen my husband, and a year since I've kissed him. I could focus on all the negative, but it will only bring me down and leave me depressed.
So let's talk about the good things. God has been so good to me and my family. He has provided for all my needs. He has brought new friends into my life both inside and outside prison. He has taken care of my husband and our children. He has kept me from harm.
Is being in prison where I want to be? Absolutely not, but God has been with me every step of the way. When I think back through the things I have seen and experienced over the past year, I see God's hand protecting me. As the song says, "God's been good in my life."
"O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him." Psalm 34:8
So let's talk about the good things. God has been so good to me and my family. He has provided for all my needs. He has brought new friends into my life both inside and outside prison. He has taken care of my husband and our children. He has kept me from harm.
