GOD IS GOOD

I know I've done this before, but I need to stop and give God the glory for what He is doing in my life. I'm learning I cannot praise the Lord too much. So here are a few things that have recently touched me.

After being threatened by my roommates, spending twenty-three days in the hole under protective custody, and loosing my job, I walked into the library and a good friend greeted me with a huge smile. She told me she had been praying for me. God is so good! I am in prison, and God has given me a very good friend who prays for me.

I've mentioned in a previous post how unsettling moving to a new room in prison can be. Well, I got my job back knowing I was going to need to move. The women who had threatened me lived in the house I was moving too. When I got back to my room after getting a box to pack up my belongings, two of my roommates told me they had just prayed for me while I was out of the room. I had only known them six weeks and a few days and yet, God impressed on them to pray for me that I would move to a good room.

When I opened the door to my new room two of my new roommates said, "Hi Joy!" I knew both of them when I previously lived in this house. One roommate told me she was so glad I was moving in. A few days later another roommate told me she hoped I never left this room because she was so glad I was her roommate.

Friends, I get emotional when I see how God cares and how He takes care of me. The last three months have been difficult, but God has taken care of me each step of the way.

I Peter 5:7
"Casting all your care upon him for he careth for you."

Joy
