DISAGREEMENTS

How do you handle disagreements? I walked downstairs to sharpen my pencil. I passed a cell and saw ice and water on the floor. An inmate was running through the dayroom, and an officer came hurrying into our wing. A few seconds later an officer yelled over the PA system that our wing was to lockdown immediately.

I walked back to my room and shut the door. My roommates crowded around the door to see what was happening. A nurse came into our wing along with more officers.

One inmate got mad at her roommate, knocked her down, and was kicking her while another roommate was hitting her in the head. The ice water was to say that the woman had slipped and fallen on her own. All four women were handcuffed and taken to the hole while the incident was under investigation.

This is a common occurrence in prison. I knew all of these women, and my heart went out to them. They need the Lord as only He can truly change their lives and make a difference in them. Give someone the Gospel today. It could change their life.

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15

"A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger." Proverbs 15:1
